Micrographs

Description

Micrographs are small, "word-sized" graphics that convey the big picture of a dataset. These are good for condensing information in data-intensive reports where precision is secondary. They are usually used to depict miniature bar charts or line charts, but are flexible enough for a wide range of visualizations.

Usage

  • Avoid using micrographs for multi-line charts. Instead, use several separate micrographs to present distinct data sets.
