Integrated Healthcare Data Warehouse Human Resources Benefits Office Aggregates, standardizes, protects, and updates information from many healthcare data sources while issuing automatically updated standard reports and allowing users to create customized benchmarks. 2009 Winner
M-Space Medical School Calculates space productivity and arranges information in a simple, flexible format while allowing users to download for further analysis. 2009 Winner
Daily Automated Feedback - Pressure Ulcer Report School of Nursing Summarizes relevant data – including a patient’s pressure ulcer risk, status, and need for intervention – for UMHS clinicians. 2009 Winner
Annual Giving Metrics Dashboard Office of University Development An automated Excel file released on a monthly basis that consolidates multi-format data into a user-friendly "Dashboard" while charting/measuring KPIs for strategic planning and performance gauging. 2009 Nominee
Data-Driven Decisionmaking School of Social Work Organization of information helps turn questions into fact-based options, provides staff with a highly expanded capacity for strategic analysis and allows instant access to basic aggregate data. 2009 Nominee
Data-Driven Student Writing Assessment Sweetland Writing Center Leverages existing data (such as incoming test scores, neighborhood cluster, English language status, etc.) to identify those students most at-risk for encountering difficulty with writing in the future. 2009 Nominee
ELVIS Team Office of Financial Aid Achieved a high level of customer service and operational efficiency by effectively leveraging the in-house-developed ELVIS system along with other software, tools, and techniques. 2009 Nominee

Weekend Services Lean Team Michigan Quality System Used and married new and existing data sets from Carelink, CareWeb Data Warehouse and other information systems in order to determine if delays in providing services contributed to higher lengths of stay for adult inpatients. 2009 Nominee
HR Metrics University Human Resources Has about 85 pre-built metrics on mobility, turnover, retirement, fte & headcount trends by job families. Allows users to "combine metrics" to produce new reports and answer "what if" scenarios. 2009 Nominee

UHR Scorecards are a management and tracking tool for the key Strategic Initiatives that include leading and lagging indicators of success. Strategy Maps are built for each initiative to link/demonstrate the impact on outcomes that each employee has in completing their job duties.
