The Building Manager Reporting System built by Matt Aldridge, senior web designer, allows University Unions managers to track key aspects of their building operations and keep detailed historical records to assist them in their daily decision making, evaluating and planning.

- Enable University Union building managers to track key aspects of their building operations and keep detailed historical records to inform their daily decision-making, evaluating and planning.
- Accommodate varying shift opening and closing hours.
- Allow collection of unique information that is based on the function and activities of a building
[edit] System/Application & Data Sources
The Building Manager Reporting System is a Web-based tool written in Coldfusion and Javascript. Cosign is used to provide secure, authenticated access.
[edit] Project Purpose, Scope, & Deliverables
- Allow users to enter reports via the web in either one session or in a series of visits.
- Generate reports about work shifts and staffing, keys and security, maintenance needs, cash deposits, notes regarding building rounds and events, as well as unique information for a particular building based on its activities and functions.
- E-mail building reports to designated University Unions administrators, managers, and system users on a customizable schedule.
- Provide a friendly interface for easy use by even novice computer users.
- Provide full search capability by date, date range, user or keyword.
- Allow select managers to add staff members and define their level of access rights within the system.
- Identify users and present them with the appropriate reporting tools for their access level and building.
