Alternative Energy eTrack (Ross users only)
- Alternative Energy eTrack provides access to information about the alternate and renewable energy industries and covers renewables, carbon emissions & trading, hydrogen & fuel cells, coal to gas, gas to Liquids, Biomass to liquids and Nuclear industries. This database includes information about news & deals, company profiles, and opinions and research reports.
- This database contains extensive full text Reuters reports across six markets: eCommerce/Technology, Finance, Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Energy.
- This resource covers many topics in 'green energy' and cleantech.
- BMO provides industry surveys for over 100 countries worldwide. The industries covered include automobiles, food and drink, tourism, Pharmaceuticals, and others.

Frost and Sullivan (Ross Only)
- Frost & Sullivan Marketing Reports offer the latest research in market analysis, technical reports, end-user studies and more quantitative measurement based reports. For assistance with downloading this content, please contact a librarian.
- Database features wider range of industries covered than Standard & Poor’s NetAdvantage. Individual reports include information such as product and service segmentation, barriers to entry, and major players.
- For seeing trends, you can view IBISWorld Archival reports as well.
- Start with a keyword search for either the company or industry. On the first screen for the industry report, you will see the leading companies listed as "Major Players Referenced".
- Great source for market reports across a wide range of areas including business services, consumer goods, food and beverages, life sciences, demographics, heavy industry and technology/media.
- Search by company, industry or product. This does not provide comprehensive coverage, but there are some very useful reports on demographics.
- New in 2009 is a set of Cleantech reports from SBI. They will be released over the course of the year.
- Provides industry sector analysis, research, trends and statistics for 29 different industries. Archival reports are also available.
- Select an industry on the left hand column. Industries of note include:

- Use the "Plunkett's Build-A-Report" to create a PDF that will have the sections and information that you would like.
- Government resource open to all via the Internet.
- "The Science Accelerator empowers you to search, via a single query, important information resources of the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE's) scientific and technical information. These resources contain the results of DOE research and development (R&D) projects and programs, descriptions of R&D projects under way or recently completed, major R&D accomplishments, and recent research of interest to DOE."
- Great way to connect to the latest research in Alternative Energy developments.

- Database features a wide variety of academic and industry-oriented business periodical literature; including access to many articles and newspapers in full text.
Business Source Complete (EBSCO)
- Database features a wide variety of academic and industry-oriented business periodical literature (such as the Harvard Business Review); including access to many articles and newspapers in full text.
- Database features articles from 6,000 newspapers, newswires, magazines and especially trade publications. You may easily browse current editions of the Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, Business Week and Forbes with this resource.
- Database features a listing of the 20,000+ electronic journals that we have access to at the Kresge Library.
