This beautifully restored lightship was originally stationed 40 miles offshore, northeast of Gavoe, Sweden in the Baltic Sea. In 1940 she was also equipped as a weather station. Today she is part of the VASA Museum and can be toured by the public.

Finngrundet is 32.8 m long with a beam of 6.85 m, a draft of 3.2 m and a displacement of 350 tonnes (full). She has a 4 cylinder reciprocating steam engine, which develops around 130 hp.
