Jones Point Light

This small, one-story wooden house with a lantern on top, is the oldest surviving inland lighthouse in the United States. It originally housed a fifth order Fresnel lens. It is part of Jones Point Park on the bank of the Potomac River. It was relit in 1995 as a private aid to navigation.
