Finding your Ethernet Address from MacOSX - kopmanis

From the Apple menu at the top-left corner of your screen, open System Preferences.

• Go into Network
• In the Show drop-down, pick Built-in Ethernet
• Click on the Ethernet tab

Labelled Ethernet ID:, you'll see an address that looks like this (but not exactly):

   02-00-0F-AB-CD-DE

This is your Ethernet or MAC address. You can triple-click on the address to Copy it into the clipboard for pasting later. You'll be asked for it when registering your machine with the Math IT group.
