[edit] Mathematics Information Technology Group

The MathIT group is here to assist the faculty, staff, and students of the Department of Mathematics with computing issues. While we do not always have authority in all areas of University and College computing, we can guide users to the correct resource. Some of the things we handle:

• Course computing labs (B727, B735, B737, B743, B745)
• Gateway Testing lab (B069)
• Departmental Printing
• User Support math-req@umich.edu or Web Request or (734) 763-6521
• Assistance with computing purchases
• Departmental Web Site and customizations

We have 4 staff members on our team:

• Jeff Kopmanis (B736), Supervisor

• Agnes Soderbeck (B082), Webmaster

General Computing Support is offered during standard business hours (8am - 5pm, weekdays). Off-hours support is at our convenience, per federal employment rules (FLSA).

Web support is offered 2pm-4pm, weekdays. Visit in person, by email (math-webmaster@umich.edu) or by phone (734) 615-8692
