About Second Life

Second Life is an online virtual world that allows users to interact with other users via animated representations of users called "avatars". Accounts are free and accessing Second Life requires a that a program be downloaded. Many libraries and library schools have begun to set up shop in Second Life to offer services and information to the residents. See the section below for articles and resources about Second Life.
