For approaching UMMS instructors on making existing an existing resource open

You mentioned recently that you developed a module for [...] Are you interested in making the materials from that course available as OER?

Did you have any supporting documents or handouts as well? The next steps are:

1) You and any collaborating authors select a Creative Commons license. You can find out about the different license options at http://open.umich.edu/share/license. We have an online form to select a license: https://open.umich.edu/oerperm/U-M_Participants_OER_Permission-General.html.

2) You send me the files. I'll review them for copyright and privacy. I'll make any necessary edits to the materials, including finding replacement images if necessary. (This is our "dScribe process" if you've heard that term before: http://open.umich.edu/dScribe)

3) We can review the materials together. I can teach you how to narrate the presentation if you would like to add voiceover to the Power Point slides.
