Instructions for faculty who are Resource Managers and will be editing their own content

Hello Prof. [insert name],

Our OER publications manager, has set up user permission for you to be able to access and edit the [name of course or resource] page on the Open.Michigan website.

1. Go to http://open.umich.edu/login
2. Enter your uniqname and Kerberos (level 1) password
3. Go to [insert link for course or resource].
4. On this page you'll see the placeholders for the course description, learning objectives, and instructor bios. Click the Edit tab at the top to edit the course description. If you would like to edit the learning objectives or instructor information, click the > arrow to view those sections and the see edit link.

If you click on the materials tab, you will be able to upload files for your course or resource.

Once you're ready to make it public, click the edit tab at the top. Under Workflow, select the Publish checkbox and click Save. Do the same the Materials tab. Send me a note when you've published it and I'll test it. If you'd like someone from our office to preview it before clicking the publish button, I would be glad to look it over for you.
