• Supervised 150 children at overnight camp between the ages of 7 and 15 as a lifeguard, activity instructor, mentor, and a friend. Also served as a role model to teach the children valuable life lessons and pass down the traditions I accustomed as a camper.
• Instructed and managed daily camp activities such as windsurfing, sailing, swimming, and land sports.
• Volunteered to be a staff member on several canoe trips, spanning from 5 to 15 days long, to offer my experience and help motivate the campers on this challenging expedition.

VIDA Clinic, Costa Rica, Central America February ‘11

• Spent a week in Costa Rica providing general health care for those in need (poor and uninsured citizens of Costa Rica) while under the supervision of licensed professionals.
• Set up temporary local clinics for anyone to come and receive free basic health care.

• Did activities with elderly members of the program to bring happiness to these mentally challenged peopl
• Assisted in coordinating a Halloween themed party for the residents, encouraging the members to leave their comfort zones and dress up in costumes to provide a carefree, fun atmosphere
• Helped build a structure (Sukkah) for religious ceremonies at a resident’s home so that they could celebrate the holiday (Sukkot) with family and friends.
