Well there is a first time for everything and this will be a first time writing biographical story about myself. I am the kind of person who is always eager to learn new things; my motto is that I can never stop learning. Another motto that I have is 'be grateful life is a gift'; this really reflects my embrace every moment attitude. I am also a person who was raised with a solid moral/ethical background and I am firm on being issues relating to morals and ethics. That being said, I love to meet new people even though I am initially shy. I like to cook and hang out with friends. Overall, I am a down to earth person. So when someone asks me to write about myself, it is kinda hard to know what to say, so here it goes! So I am Jenna, I am from Calabasas, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. Usually when I first tell people that the first response is always, "Why the hell did you come to Michigan?!?" and then it usually follows with a comment about the cold weather, blah, blah, blah. I always respond "I love it here, 4 years in cold weather won't kill me". Needless to say I love the University of Michigan and I cannot imagine going to college anywhere else, especially anywhere in California. Coming to college, I had no idea what I wanted to major in; all I knew is that I was interested in business. Both my parents have their MBA and my dad also has his medical license. So I guess I am just following what I know. Right now I am an Economics major, but after completing econ401 I realized that I do not want to be an econ major anymore. However, I still cannot find a LSA major that completely interests me. I am struggling to find classes and a major that can actually be useful in the future. Now I am trying to follow what I want to do. After hearing about the Program in Entrepreneurship, I knew that I finally found something at Michigan that interests me. Finally I am in a program that students are creative, innovative, and want to make something out of their undergraduate experience. Being around other students that are interested in what I am interested in inspires me. With the 2 entrepreneurship classes I am enrolled in this semester, I can already tell that this is for me. I can listen to these teachers for hours on end, I just find everything so fascinating. I am super excited to be enrolled in this class and have some hands-on experience.
