Wozniak, one of Apples co-founders believes the android platform is better than the iPhone. I disagree with his arguments after using the droid platform for over a year with lots of rooting experimenting ("jailbreak" for androids) and until recently I switched to the Iphone 4s.
His main argument is that the voice recognition software for the android is more reliable than the iphones "siri". However, I have never used a lot of voice recognition software for either of my phones so I cant give my full opinion here. But, he does state that android has gps capability, tethering, etc: things the iphone CAN'T do. The iPhone actually has everything the android can do even easier. The iPhone doesn't have a solid gps application, but there are many 3rd party apps that you can either download for free or for a cost (quality of app depends on your money spent, but free apps work just as well). The only small argument for Woz is that tethering is a little harder for the iphone (especially the 4s) since free tethering is only if your phone is jailbroken and only up to the 4 has been jailbroken. However, for the android, in order for you to get free tethering as well is if you "root" your droid visa versa. I think the positives and negatives balance out for each phone and it all comes down to appearance and ease of use (which the iPhone has both of).
Overall, I am much more satisfied with my iPhone as it is a more stable good all the time phone and don't forget it looks sleek and sophisticated.
