HN- Everything you thought you knew about learning is wrong

http://www.wired.com/geekdad/2012/01/everything-about-learning/ This article is about the myths that we hold about learning and the ways that we should actually approach learning. The ideas that i found very interesting was that instead of working on one skill and perfecting it, and then moving on to another skill; the author suggests that we work on a variety of skills( that are related-for example tennis backhand, forehand, serve etc). then we learn more by learning each skill in relation to another. The author also goes on to talk about how we should study our material, and then leave it until the materials barely retrievable in our memory. then according to the author we would remember a lot more the second time we study.
