Bristol, Rhode Island
Built: 1856
Decommissioned: 1927
This 34-foot tall square brick tower is attached to the brick keeper's dwelling. It replaced an 1846 shorter wooden tower. Located where the Mount Hope River meets Narragansett Bay, it closely resembles the Sand Point Light in Escanaba, Michigan. It sits at the northern base of the Mount Hope River Bridge.
