Built: 1873
This light is located four miles east of Indian Key and stands in 5 feet of water on Florida's Alligator Reef. The light is 136 feet above sea level in a black lantern room atop a white, skeletal tower. The small keeper's quarters are nestled within the framework of the octagonal tower.
