South Bass Island, Ohio

Built: 1913

This light is not officially a lighthouse. It was erected as a monument to commemorate Oliver Hazard Perry's victory over the British fleet during the War of 1812 in the waters west of the island. It still guides many boaters into the waters at Put-In-Bay.
