Built: 1905
These lights mark the deep water passage from the St. Mary's River in the North Channel above St. Joseph Island. Both are 30 foot tall, wooden, pyramidal structures, sitting 600 feet apart on a very steep granite bluff high above the water. They have very typical Canadian day markings of white with a red vertical stripe, and serve as day markers for pleasure craft going into Georgian Bay.
