Empire, Michigan
Built: 1991
This light sits in a park along the shore of Lake Michigan. It is Michigan's newest light and only the second memorial light in the state. Robert Manning was a life-long resident of Empire. His family built the light to honor him, and the Coast Guard will soon add it to their official nautical charts.
