This 40 foot tall, cylindrical, brick and concrete tower has a focal plane of 277 feet. It sits on the eastern tip of East Anacapa Island, marking the eastern entrance to the Santa Barbara Channel. It is located 12 miles off the California coast. A concrete fog signal building sits nearby. The tower originally housed a 3rd order Fresnel lens, but now contains a modern optic. The Anacapa Islands are part of the Channel Islands National Park.
