Located at the northwestern tip of PEI, this 19 meter (62 foot) octagonal wood tower overlooks the Gulf of St. Lawrence and marks the eastern side of the western entrance to the Northumberland Strait. This still active light now shares the point with a communications tower and a nearby cluster of wind turbines.
