Tea Hill, Prince Edward Island
Built: 1889
This front range light (top photo) is a 14 meter (47 foot) square pyramidal wood tower with lantern and gallery. The seaward face of the tower is painted red with a black vertical stripe (left side of photo). The other sides of the tower are painted white (right side of photo).
The rear range light (bottom photo) is a 11 meter (37 foot) tapered square pyramidal wood tower with lantern and gallery. The seaward face of this tower is also painted red with a black vertical stripe (left side of photo), and the other sides of the tower are painted white (right side of photo).
These still active lights sit on the northeast side of the entrance to Charlottetown Harbour from Hillsborough Bay, on the south shore of PEI.
