Manitowoc Breakwater Light

Manitowoc, Wisconsin
Built: 1918
This light rests on an 11 foot high, 22 x 48 rectangular concrect pier which in turn rests on the concrete breakwall at the mouth of the Manitowoc River. The original light built at this site in 1840, was one of the early Lake Michigan light stations.
