Alberton, Prince Edward Island

Built: 1899

Decommissioned: 1970

This 15 meter (49 foot) square wood pyramidal tower with lantern and gallery, is attached to a 2-story wood keeper's house. It is located at the northern end of Cascumpec Island, marking the entry into Cascumpec Bay and Alberton. It is no longer active, and is now a private cottage. From 1970 until 2005 a modern skeletal tower stood nearby, but has since been demolished and was not replaced.
