Georgetown Range Lights

Lower Montague, Prince Edward Island
Built: 1890 Rear, 1969 Front
The rear range light (left in photo) is a 13 meter (43 foot) square pyramidal wood tower with lantern and gallery, painted white with a red vertical stripe on the seaward side.
The front range light (right in photo) is a 7.5 meter (25 foot) modern cylindrical steel tower, painted red with a white horizontal band and no lantern. Though like thousands of other modern steel towers, this one is situated in a nice setting, so is included here.
These range lights are located on the east side of PEI marking the south side of the entrance to Georgetown Harbour, across the harbour from Georgetown.
