Farsund, Norway

Built: 1853

The original light tower at this location was built in 1836. Then from 1851 to 1853 two more towers were erected. In 1873 two of the towers were torn down, leaving this northernmost one standing. Located at the southern tip of Norway, it stands 34 m (112 ft) tall and is 39.5 m (130 ft) above sea level. It reaches 17.5 nautical miles out to sea.
