Point Wilson Light

Automated: 1977
This 49 foot tall octagonal brick tower, rising from a one-story brick fog signal building, marks the west entrance into the Puget Sound. It is the turning point from the Strait of Juan de Fuca into Admiralty Inlet. Replacing the original 1879 light tower, this current light is still active, utilizing the original fourth-order Fresnel lens. It is part of Fort Worden State Park.
