Cove Point Light

This white, conical tower is 51 feet tall, and made of brick with a concrete coating. It is located just north of the entrance to the Patuxent River from the Chesapeake Bay, and marks the shoal that extends outwards toward the shipping channel at Calvert Cliffs.
