From lighthouses
Liverpool, Nova Scotia
Built: 1962
Automated: 1988
This 15 meters (50 feet) tall octagonal concrete tower is one of the newest in Canada. Located at the entrance to Liverpool Harbour, it now sits alone with a tiny service building and bank of electronic foghorns on the bare, rocky point and is completely exposed to the open Atlantic.
