French River, Prince Edward Island

Built: 1969

This still active light is a 12 meters (39 feet) tall, square pyramidal shingled wood tower. It replaced the previous 1905 light. The current lighthouse is endangered by erosion of the cliff on which it stands. It is located west of New London Bay, overlooking the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
