Kyle of Lochalsh, Scotland, U.K.

Built: 1797

This white cylindrical tower with black horizontal band is located at Cloch Point on the River Clyde where it turns toward Glasgow. It is still an active light although the optic is mounted on a pole outside the lantern room. Its focal plane is 78 feet above sea level.
