Built: 1919

Automated: 1962

Located on the west side of San Juan Island, overlooking Haro Strait, this 38 foot tall octagonal concrete tower is attached to the front of a one-story concrete fog signal building. Its focal plane is 55 feet above sea level. The light station is a whale research lab and a popular site for whale watching.
