This art moderne style lighthouse consists of a 48-foot-tall, square, concrete tower rising from a one-story fog signal building. Located at the southeast end of the Santa Barbara Channel, it marks the east side of the entrance to Port Hueneme. This light replaced the original 1874 lighthouse, which was nearly identical to the Point Fermin Lighthouse. The 4th order Fresnel lens was moved from the old lighthouse to the new one, and is still in operation today.  <br clear=all>
