Randaberg, Norway

Built: 1860

Located at the northern tip of the mainland directly north of Stavanger along the southwest coast of Norway, this 12 m (39 ft) tower now houses a fourth order lens, after having previously been 3 different size lens. It is 17.5 m (57 ft) above sea level, with a range of 13.8 nautical miles. Its unique characteristic is created by red panels on the lens and the lantern room windows. Movable louvers create the flashing effect.
