How to change SSID/name of access point

Option 1, via webpage

connect to wireless access point for raspberry pi

• open web-browser. Go to 192.168.42.1.
  

Option 2, via SSH

• connect to wireless access point for raspberry pi
• ssh pi@192.168.42.1
• enter password
• sudo vi /etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf (Commands: x to delete, i to insert, esc:q! to quit without writing, esc:wq! to quit with writing)
• sudo vi /etc/hosts oer-pi-umich www.oer-pi-umich.net
• sudo reboot
• Unplug power to raspberry pi, then reconnect power
