There are some occasions when direct access to the server is required. Normally, a user will use SSH from a remote system to obtain a "terminal window" on the server and then enter so "commands". In order to remove the need to SSH, functionality has been provided on the Web Server to permit such a terminal window to be exposed on a web browser.
To access this terminal window, click the "Terminal Window in a Browser" link on the home page. You will be presented with the following web page. Click on the "Login:" label. Use the "pi" credentials to login. Use the "Enter" key when finished typing in the UserID. You will then be presented with a password request. Click on the "Password:" label and enter the password, using the "Enter" key when complete. You now will see a webpage that will permit you to enter "system" commands. When finished using this terminal window, enter "exit", which will terminate the session.
Shell Commander
