Contents |
Course Content
- Primarily MS Word doc handouts, teaching notes, and articles.
- Notably, there are no lecture slides (see Next Steps).
Copyright Concerns
- Very little.
- Just don't publish the articles that were made available in CTools.
Privacy Concerns
- Very little.
- The cases appear to be fabricated/anonymized.
Level of Editing Needed
- Relatively Little.
- Aside from inserting license/disclaimer page in the documents and checking the citation/reading list for valid URLs and/or URLs to infringing content, not much.
Level of Publishing Needed
- Normal to Little.
- For each week there will simply be a handout or two, and teaching notes.
dScribe Method Recommendation
- DIY and/or Faculty-GSI with Open.Michigan final review/stamp of approval
Training Requirements
- Copyright: very very little as all that really needs to happen is not publishing the articles.
- Need to train how to edit/license the material to our standards.
Next Steps
- Greg will email the professor to confirm that he either does not have lecture slides or does not want to share them publicly. The "Teaching Notes" are practically a stand in.
- If there are no lecture slides, then Greg will email the prof with the team's recommendation for dScribe method.
- Depending on method, Greg will set up a training session time/location.
