GENERAL ASK FORM for dScribe 2Description:
- The dScribe questions are from the status of the CO when the dScribe initially elects to send the CO to the dScribe 2 with additional questions.
- When the dScribe 2 has responded to the question(s), they click "send to dScribe" at the bottom (or "save for later" if not complete).
- The CO should have enough contextual information for the dScribe 2 to answer the question (as indicated on the right side of the mock-up below the image). This might be a collapsed set of info.
Description:
- the rationale comes from the dScribe in the CO information form when the dScribe recommends the action Fair Use.
- If the dScribe 2 chooses to get a Legal and Policy review for the CO a new comment and rationale text box pops up.
- The dScribe 2 can then choose to send this off to the Legal and Policy Review team by clicking the button.
- If the dScribe 2 chooses not to escalate the CO to the review team, a comment box comes up along with a recommended action box.
- The CO should have enough contextual information along with it (see right side of mock-up below picture) to allow the dScribe 2 to make a decision. This information might be collapsed.
Description:
- The dScribe 2 makes a decision as to whether he/she will send a permission form.
- If "No" the dScribe 2 gets a new comment box and a recommended action box.
- The dScribe 2 can then click "Send to dScribe."
- If the dScribe 2 decides to try and obtain permission ("YES") he/she gets a new question asking about the status of the permission form with a default of "NO" it has not been sent.
- If "No" it has not been sent, the dScribe 2 can then click "Update dScribe" to let the dScribe know the status of the CO.
- If "Yes" it has been sent, the dScribe 2 then must answer a question about whether a response has been received (default of "NO".
- If "NO" response was received the dScribe 2 can then click "Update dScribe."
- If "Yes" a response was received the dScribe 2 sees a new question about whether permission was granted (default of "NO").
- If "Yes" permission was granted the dScribe 2 then sends this information to the dScribe. The final action status is automatically updated to show that the action is "Permission."
- If "NO" permission was not granted the dScribe 2 is shown a new comment box and a recommended action box.
- The dScribe 2 then clicks "send to dScribe" and the CO is completed.
- The CO should have enough contextual information along with it (see right side of mock-up below picture) to allow the dScribe 2 to make a decision. This information might be collapsed, but must be editable.
Description:
- the rationale comes from the dScribe in the CO information form when the dScribe recommends the action Commission.
- The dScribe 2 decides if he/she can replace the CO or help the dScribe replace it.
- If "YES" the dScribe 2 is shown a text box to fill out and is given the option to upload a replacement (if he/she has one to upload).
- The dScribe 2 can then send this to the dScribe.
- if "NO" the dScribe 2 cannot help with a replacement, a question pops up asking if the dScribe 2 recommends the CO for commission.
- If "YES" the dScribe 2 recommends commission he/she must provide rationale for that decision and then must click "send to Commission Review."
- If "NO" the dScribe 2 does not recommend the CO for commission he/she is shown a comment box and a recommended action box.
- The dScribe 2 then sends this to the dScribe.
- The CO should have enough contextual information along with it (see right side of mock-up below picture) to allow the dScribe 2 to make a decision. This information might be collapsed.
Description:
- the rationale comes from the dScribe in the CO information form when the dScribe recommends the action Retain: No Copyright.
- the dScribe 2 is then given a choice about accepting or rejecting the dScribe's rationale. The dScribe 2 is given a third option of being "Unsure" about the rationale. * we might think about the most usable term here for "unsure" - that could confuse "dScribe 2s." - Pieter 18:02, 29 April 2008 (EDT)
- If "ACCEPT" the dScribe 2 must provide clear rationale as to why the CO has No Copyright and then send it to the dScribe.
- If "REJECT" the dScribe 2 is shown a comment box and a recommended action box and then sends it to the dScribe.
- If "UNSURE" the dScrbie 2 must fill out a comment box and then send the CO to the Legal and Policy Review.
- The CO should have enough contextual information along with it (see right side of mock-up below picture) to allow the dScribe 2 to make a decision. This information might be collapsed.
