Winter 2009 dScribe Meeting 2: January 21

- Questions from dScribes?
- Confirm that everyone has been able to add materials, context images, and content objects to OERca.
- Most our meeting focuses on copyright education and the Recommend Actions step in the dScribe task list. Garin led us in a short copyright 101 course (see the video below).
- We walked through some example content objects in a dScribe's materials. Garin recommended some actions and provided a rationale. In addition, he demonstrated the "help me recommend an action" in OERca (aka the RAD Tree Navigator) as a method to determine the appropriate action.
- At the evening meeting we discussed why some people prefer CC BY over CC BY-SA and vice versa
