Kilauea Point Light

This 53 foot tall cylindrical concrete tower has a focal plane of 216 feet. It is located in Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge at the northernmost point of Kauai. This is also the northernmost point of all the inhabitable Hawaiian islands. The original second order Fresnel lens is still in the lantern room, although it is inactive. The tower was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
