Neist Point Light

Automated: 1986
This 62 foot tall, white conical tower and attaching buildings are located on the western-most point of the Isle of Skye. Its focal plane is 141 feet above sea level and it has a range of 16 nautical miles. It is accessible by boat, helicopter or a 45 minute walk up and down steep hills. It was designed by David Alan Stevenson and is still active today.
