Sombrero Key Light

This brown, octagonal, pyramidal skeletal tower has a central cylindrical stairwell. Its light shines 142 feet above sea level and is the tallest of the lights on the outer reefs along Florida's Keys. It is near one of the most spectacular structures in Florida: Seven-Mile Bridge. It was the last reef light to be built by Lieutenant George Meade.
