• lots of powerpoints and other documents
• a few videos to demonstrate software

• Where are the datasets from?
• There is some clip art in the pdf files.
• Spectronics manual in general resources?
• There are many clip art type images in the lecture .pdfs

• Nothing.

[edit] Technical Concerns

• They use SPSS, which is proprietary. See if they can use PSPP (http://www.gnu.org/software/pspp/)
• They also use R, which is Free/Open Source Software: http://www.r-project.org/

• Not terribly much.

[edit] Level of Publishing Needed

• With all of the datasets and such, probably the same level as SI 508 (https://open.umich.edu/education/si/si508-fall2008)

[edit] dScribe Method Recommendation

• Student dScribe who is in the course, taking notes on the provenance of images while the prof is giving the lecture.
• Probably some staff time to make sure the videos, datasets, etc are handled correctly.

• Train dScribe on very very basic copyright and mostly just on what is the important provenance information
