  • “Change Password” will disappear in production, right? Pieter 13:31, 8 March 2008 (EST)

Courses>Sequence

  • When I add a single CO, the XMP metadata is not read out into the appropriate fields. - related to RCO metadata "bug" David H
  • When I try to upload a single CO without filling in the Ask Instructor radio button or the location field, I get a set of PHP errors. When I hit "Back" on my browser, I get a notification saying that I need to add those fields. It seems like I should just get the notification and not the errors. See the screencast here: CO Upload
  • The "Ask Items?" column only yields TRUE if a material has provenance Ask COs - it ignores replacement COs as Ask Items.

Courses>Sequence>Material

  • when I go to upload an RCO, I click browse and find the image on my machine. once that is selected I get an awkward and difficult to read text box that shows my path and has a delete link. I can’t click on the path or anything, only delete. I, instead, click on upload and get this set of PHP errors. The errors relate to the metadata that is not embedded in the image - dScribes need to have the flexibility of adding metadata after the upload. Pieter 13:54, 8 March 2008 (EST)David H
  • When I upload an RCO with or without metadata to replace an existing RCO, it does not show up. I am using the same naming convention agreed upon where the RCO is named: whateverSlideNumberR - fatman4R, for example. The naming shouldn't matter at this point though... same as single CO upload - either check for metadata or don't -LOW Pieter 15:35, 11 March 2008 (EDT) David H
  • I cannot change a CO's "Cleared" status when it is set to "Yes". I can change it from "No" to "Yes" but once it is "Yes" it can never go back to "No".
  • When you select "View By" "Ask Instructor" I only see COs that are in the provenance category - I don't see the replacement category of COs. - We just need a replacement category.
  • When I add a comment, anywhere, it tags the comment as coming from "jsmith" instead of the user (I am logged in as tpain). will change once on oer.umms Pieter 15:35, 11 March 2008 (EDT)
  • This is a bit weird: I added a replacement to a CO that was marked ASK (provenance). I then saw that the CO was in both ASK categories (prov and repl). I then toggled the ASK radio button to "No" (don't ask the instructor). The ASK form then showed that the CO had been removed from the provenance category, but was still in the replacement category. I can post a screencast if you'd like. This was related to another issue - no bug Pieter 15:35, 11 March 2008 (EDT)
  • when I choose “Fair Use” from the drop down menu I get a very odd situation: the material info, comments, add COs all come up and below that I get PHP errors and below that I get the c12.m2.o42 metadata - see screencast. Pieter 13:33, 8 March 2008 (EST)
  • when I click “add comment” at the bottom of the CO metadata page, nothing comes up Pieter 13:35, 8 March 2008 (EST)
  • when I click “add comment” at the bottom of the RCO metadata page, the text box shows up, but I get an additional scroll bar on the right side of the frame - is that bar necessary? Pieter 13:43, 8 March 2008 (EST)
  • Edit Material Info: when I change the name, or anything else in the info and click DONE, it does not save my changes. Pieter 13:54, 8 March 2008 (EST)
  • Add Content Objects: I have tried uploading both single images and zipped images (the same zip that I sent to David to test this feature) and nothing goes through. I get a set of PHP errors you can see here. --- I no longer get the PHP errors from before, but after the upload I get no confirmation that the upload has occurred, and I see no new COs in the list. I also see no change in COs from the Course Materials page. Pieter 14:00, 9 March 2008 (EDT)

Ask Form

  • I answered the questions of a CO, but my keywords weren't saved and although I indicated that a dScribe could find a replacement, that wasn't displayed under the Actions Taken in the "Sent to dScribe" view. I also don't see my description for the object in that view.
  • when no replacement object exists, I should see something telling me that instead of a broken image - c12.m2.042 Pieter 14:17, 8 March 2008 (EST)
  • if an object is an “ASK instructor” object, it should not be able to be set to “cleared” - c12.m2.o42 --- David will show this in the log instead Pieter 13:59, 11 March 2008 (EDT)
  • Copyright: the text that says: copy should be: copyright for all (status, holder, info url, notice) Pieter 14:17, 8 March 2008 (EST)
