Travel

Ann Arbor is served by the Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW).

Most domestic and international flights run through "Metro," which serves as a major Delta Airlines hub. Located in nearby Romulus off I-94, Metro Airport is about 25 miles east of Ann Arbor. Taxi and shuttle service is available.

If you're looking for inexpensive transportation to and from the airport, check out the Michigan Flyer, which is about $30 roundtrip.

Parking

Like many large cities parking can often times be difficult in Ann Arbor and at the University of Michigan.  It is encouraged that if staying at an area hotel that you walk or seek information regarding hotel operated shuttles to campus.  If parking is required, the City of Ann Arbor lots at Maynard and Liberty streets and Washington and State streets are open for all day parking (rate: $1.00 - $1.40/hr).  U-M Guest parking is available on campus at the Palmer Parking structure, entry off Washtenaw, one block from Rackham and the North Quadrangle complex.  Palmer parking rate is $1.10/hr.
